Damaged TV backlight - symptoms

How to tell if the backlight has failed? The most characteristic symptom is uneven screen lighting and/or darker spots on the TV screen. This situation may indicate damage to some LED diodes or the entire LED strip section. It also happens that the screen has uniform backlighting, but the image is significantly darker than it should be. In this case, we know that the LEDs are working, but not at full power, which results in reduced image brightness. In extreme cases, the fault will manifest as a complete lack of backlighting, meaning the TV screen will remain completely dark, but the other functions of the device (e.g., sound) will work without any issues.

The only effective solution is to replace the damaged backlight. This repair requires disassembling the TV to access the LED strip. There are quite a few components that need to be removed, including the TV's outer casing, the main board, the T-con board, strips, and filters...
